One Room School House | Amish Schools | Reader Forum

I did not go to a one rom school but it had out houses and I know a little about it. I also brought my lunch, also that was 1956 and in the 1960 they started bring meals on wheels.That was a good time back thin and we respected the teacher and it sound a lot like growing up Amish we did not have power or running water.So I think they learn more and had respect for one another .

I agree that it does sound like a good idea, but how would it / could it (practically) be applied to our society? Think of how many children are in each school, and how many schools are in each city.
